Derek Frump, DDS is an experienced and compassionate dentist who aims to create long-lasting patient relationships based on trust, honesty and quality care. Born in Woodland Hills and raised in the Santa Clarita Valley, Dr. Frump moved to Orange County after graduating high school to attend the University of California, Irvine. It was there that Dr. Frump earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating cum laude. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry, and completed Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Veterans Hospital in Long Beach, CA.
Dr. Frump understands that going to the dentist can be a nerve-wracking experience for many people. He aims to make his patients as comfortable as possible and treat them with the same care that he would like to receive. Dr. Frump believes that clear communication and education are important so that patients can make the most informed decisions about their dental health. He understands that dental treatment is not one-size-fits-all and that each patient deserves customized, personalized care that addresses their concerns and smile goals. Within the field of dentistry, Dr. Frump is particularly interested in dental implants, crowns, Invisalign®, veneers and root canals.
Outside the office, Dr. Frump can be found spending time with friends and family, fishing, camping and cooking. He loves the Santa Clarita area because of its various parks and its proximity to the beach, mountains and city.
