All About Invisalign®

Invisalign® creates a healthy, straight smile in a virtually invisible way. As a certified Invisalign® provider in Valencia, CA, we are proud to offer Invisalign® treatment for our patients. Due to the convenient and precise nature of Invisalign® treatment, many adults are choosing to wear clear aligners to straighten their teeth or correct other issues such as overbite, underbite, overly-crowded teeth and widely-gapped teeth.

How Invisalign® Works

Invisalign® uses a system of clear trays that are expertly molded to fit your teeth with advanced digital imaging technology. While wearing your Invisalign®, your teeth slowly move into place. Every two weeks, Invisalign® patients swap out their trays with new aligners. Invisalign® uses an advanced computer program to precisely align your teeth, building predetermined movements into each of your aligners.

Invisalign® is removable, so even though patients are instructed to wear their aligners as much as possible, patients can remove their aligners to eat. Invisalign® patients also remove aligners to brush and floss teeth, and to clean their aligners. Clean your Invisalign® by rinsing with cool weather and brushing with a clean toothbrush (no toothpaste). There are specific denture cleaners that are also safe for Invisalign®. Always make sure that your mouth is clean before placing aligners back on the teeth.

If left alone, straight teeth achieved with orthodontic treatment will slowly shift back towards their initial position.
