Meet Dr. Nina Lin, your Valencia Family Dentist.
In My Words
Most Valencia dentists might not admit this, but I’ve experienced many of the procedures that I also perform as a dentist. I’ve been there — I know how it feels to get fillings, braces, cleanings, bleaching, teeth pulled, and even esthetic gum surgery. And I understand why most people are apprehensive about it. This is why I take pride in making every patient feel as relaxed as possible. When you come in for an appointment, you are our priority. At our Valencia dentist office, we have the facilities, the medical equipment, and the dental products to deliver efficient, quality dentistry without making you feel rushed. Our staff is here to support you and to help you forget that you’re in a dental office.
I feel so lucky that I can say, “I love what I do.” This sounds cliché, but dentistry is a unique niche in healthcare that incorporates art with medicine. It requires a specific skill set not only to diagnose the problem but also to precisely correct it. I think that it’s very rewarding to take scientific knowledge and translate that into a healthy, esthetic smile. I love coming into the office every day, engaging with other people and meeting new challenges head-on.
I am excited to be your Valencia dentist and to welcome you into our family of patients.
At the end of the day, I am an East Coast girl at heart. I was raised in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and lived in Philadelphia for almost 10 years. (Go, Eagles!) I am very close to my four siblings, who are scattered throughout the East and West coasts. I definitely miss them, but am so glad to be living closer to my witty 113 year old great grandmother who lives in Orange County.
My husband, James, and I decided to make the big move to California that started with my residency in Long Beach. Years later, we are still on this adventure and loving the sunshine that comes with it. Although I miss the fast-paced dynamic of Philly, I don’t regret our move at all. James and I really enjoy exploring LA, discovering new hiking trails, and going to outdoor movie screenings and concerts. Plus, nothing can compare to the food in LA. I also love crafting, painting, and knitting which I actually think has helped me become a better dentist!
